When Prabhas Performed Ravana Dahan On Dusshera: October 24 marks the auspicious day of Vijayadashami, popularly known as Dusshera. It commemorates Lord Rama's victory over the demon king Ravana and Maa Durga's conquest of Mahishasura. Across the nation, the time-honored tradition of Ram Lila unfolds, featuring vibrant fairs that draw massive, enthusiastic crowds, eagerly awaiting the spectacular incineration of the Ravan effigies. In a noteworthy development this year, Kangana Ranaut is poised to make history by becoming the first woman to lead the Ravan Dahan ceremony at the Lav Kush Ramleela in Delhi on Dussehra.

Yet, looking back to Dusshera in 2022, the 'Adipurush' actor, Prabhas, made a grand journey to Delhi to oversee the Ravana dahan at the world's largest Ramlila, an annual event hosted on the iconic Red Fort grounds. It's a celebration that unites people in the spirit of good prevailing over evil and showcases cultural diversity and grandeur.

At approximately 7 in the evening, Prabhas assumed the role of firing a ceremonial shot with a bow and arrow, symbolizing the commencement of the Ravana dahan ritual. According to credible reports, a substantial security presence was established at the event. This security arrangement included officers from the Delhi Police, the deployment of three paramilitary units, and a team of 140 bouncers. Such precautions were deemed necessary due to Prabhas' widespread popularity, ensuring not only the safety of the event but also the efficient management of the sizable crowd expected to gather.
