Elvish Yadav, who won Bigg Boss OTT 2, recently invited Bigg Boss 18 star contestants Karanveer Mehra and Rajat Dalal on his podcast. The YouTuber’s clip with Rajat Dalal where he made some derogatory remarks on Bigg Boss 18 fame Chum Darang. After this, Yadav received a lot of backlash from the netizens. In the viral clip, Elvish said “Karan Veer ko pakka COVID tha kyunki Chum kisko pasand aati hai bhai, itna taste kiska kharab hota hai! Aur Chum ke toh naam mein hi ashleelta hai… Naam Chum aur kaam Gangubai Kathiawadi mein kiya hai. (Karan Veer definitely had COVID because who even likes Chum, bro? Whose taste is that bad! And even Chum's name itself sounds so inappropriate… Her name is Chum, and she has worked in Gangubai Kathiawadi).”
Now, reacting to it on his YouTube Vlog, Elvish clarified that he deleted that part where he made some comments on Chum. He further shared that people on Twitter are claiming that he passed racist remarks on the actress. Elvish mentioned that he does not care what he said in the past. In the Vlog, Elvish said “Meine Chum ke upar kuch bol rakhha tha. Mein kaha, Mein bola ya nahi, hatao, mujhe negativity chahiye hi nahi. Agar kisiko kharap lag raha hain mere bolne se, toh bhai, wo part meine remove kar diya. (I had said something about Chum. I don’t care whether I said it or not; I removed it. I don’t want any negativity. If anyone felt bad because of what I said, then brother, I have removed that part).”
“Second thing, kitne bewakoof log hain jinko ye samajh mein nahi aa raha. Wo log bol raha hain Elvish ne Covid bol diya, so Elvish is relating Chinese with Chum. Karan ko shayad Covid ho gaya hain, jo usko taste, smell chali gayi, toh Chum pasand aa gaya,” he added.
Bigg Boss 18 was won by Karanveer Mehra, and the second position was secured by Vivian Dsena followed by Rajat Dalal.
