Emergency Box Office Collection Day 17: Kangana Ranaut starrer historical biographical drama has been underperforming in its second week. The film was released in theatres on January 17 and received mixed responses from the audience and the critics. The audience appreciated Kangana’s performance but criticised the storyline, which might be the reason behind its downfall. It seems difficult for the movie to enter Rs 20 crore in the coming days seeing the current pace. But a slight improvement can change the overall performance of the movie. 

Emergency Box Office Collection Day 17

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.17 crore on day 17. The net collection of Emergency stands at Rs 17.47 crore. The film had an overall 6.96 per cent Hindi occupancy in theatres on Thursday. The movie had 4.65 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 6.78 per cent in the afternoon shows, 7.71 per cent in the evening shows and 8.71 per cent in the night shows. 

Emergency Budget

As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 60 crore. Seeing the current box office collection, it seems difficult for the movie to cross the budget mark. 

About Emergency 

The historical biographical drama movie shows the political scenario that occurred during the Emergency period in India under the leadership of the first female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik and Milind Soman in significant roles. The movie has been directed by Kangana herself.
