Emmy Awards 2024: The 52nd International Emmy Awards, celebrating excellence in television produced and aired outside the United States, took place at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City. The event, organized by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (IATAS), honoured exceptional talent across 14 categories. Indian actor-comedian Vir Das hosted the event, making history as the first Indian to emcee this prestigious awards ceremony. Vir Das sported attire by Delhi-based designer Shubhangi Bajpai. Das previously won an International Emmy for his Netflix special Landing in 2023.

The event showcased 56 nominees from 21 countries, including India, the UK, Australia, France, Brazil, and Argentina and streamed live on iemmys.tv. The Night Manager, starring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala, represented India in the Drama Series category. However, the series lost to the French drama Les Gouttes De Dieu at the 2024 Emmys. The awards spanned categories such as Comedy, Drama Series, TV Movie/Mini-Series and Kids' programming.
