Emraan Hashmi is currently basking in the success of his movie 'Tiger 3', in which he played the role of antagonist. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Emraan on the big screen again and know about his upcoming projects. It was earlier rumoured that Emraan has been approached to play the antagonist in the most anticipated movie 'Don 3', starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. The actor finally broke his silence on the casting rumours and said that he was never approached for 'Don 3'.

Taking to his Instagram story, Emraan wrote, "For the fans and journalists that are asking, I was never a part of Don 3. Was never offered the movie."

Earlier, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Emraan revealed that he initially thought about rejecting 'Tiger 3' but decided to work on the film after reading the script. He said, "When I was told that I am being considered for the antagonist in Tiger, there was a fleeting thought that (said) no. Because it’s Salman and it’s Tiger and it’s his brand. But that was only for a fraction of a second. When Maneesh narrated the script and told me about Aatish, I was like this guy is so interesting."

Talking about his character, he said, "He’s not ruthless and evil for the sake of it. I knew when I heard the character arc that this is an interesting guy. Even though it’s Tiger’s story, Aatish’s motivations make a big impact.”

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi will next star in the Telugu movie 'Goodachari 2' along with Adivi Sesh. He will also star in the web series 'Showtime', which will release on Disney+ Hotstar.
