Hema Malini, an iconic figure in Indian cinema, is renowned for her illustrious acting career. Her filmography includes numerous blockbusters, and she has portrayed iconic roles in movies like 'Sholay', 'Seeta Aur Geeta', and 'Pratigya'. Her last appearance was in 'Shimla Mirchi'. Recently, her daughter Esha Deol disclosed that Hema Malini is keen on making a comeback in the film industry and is actively exploring promising opportunities.
In an interview with News18, Esha said, "I’ve been pushing my mother to make a comeback. I’ve been doing it forever! In fact, she too wants to do films again." She added, "She’s looking at some good roles and scripts. She’s the kind of person who says that only if something very good comes her way will she step out and go back in front of the camera. If anyone has something good for my mom, they should shoot her a call."

Esha further talked about how dad Dharmendra personally asked for everyone’s suggestions before starting work on Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. "Whenever my dad starts a new project, he’ll show us pictures from his look tests and costumes. He did the same for Taj: Divided By Blood and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He still has that child-like excitement. And that really peps us up. There’s a constant give and take between all of us," she stated.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Esha Deol was last seen in the web series 'Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega', which also stars Suniel Shetty. She was also seen in 'Rudra: The Edge of Darkness', a series co-starring Ajay Devgn and Raashii Khanna.
