"Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" will be the theme of the 2023 Met Gala in his honour. Karl Otto Lagerfeld was a German fashion designer, creative director, artist and photographer. He was known as the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, a position held from 1983 until his death, and was also the creative director of the Italian fur and leather goods fashion house Fendi, and of his own eponymous fashion label. He collaborated on a variety of fashion and art-related projects.

Met Gala 2023: Tickets Price And More

This year, the cost of the tickets to the 2023 Met Gala is $50,000, a significant rise of around $20,000 from the cost of the tickets the previous year. According to a report in Page Six, Metropolitan Museum of Art donors are passing on the gala this year. "These people are already donating so much, to then ask for that amount is a lot," said a source close to the development.

When And How To Watch Met Gala 2023?

This year, Met Gala is on May 1 (May 2 for India). The grand event will be hosted livestream by Vogue. It will be broadcast live across Vogue's social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages.

Not much has been disclosed about this year's Met Gala. However, if the reports are to be believed, Kim Kardashian, Billie Eilish, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Rose and Jennie from Blackpink, Lily-Rose Depp, and more stars will be in attendance. B-town divas Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt will also be attending the costume party.
