Since she made her debut at the annual Met Gala in 2015, Zendaya has consistently been on lists of the best dressed attendees. As the Met Gala 2023 is around the corner, let us have a quick look at Zendaya's Met Gala history:

2019: “Camp: Notes on Fashion”

The theme of Met Gala was Camp and Zendaya completely understood it. The actor and her stylist Law Roach decided to put on a show at the Met. Luxurious brand Tommy Hilfiger designed a light-up dress for Zendaya and the latter put up a Cinderella show by pairing it up with the glass pumps. In the end, they also left a glass slipper behind, as a part of an act. Zendaya's pumpkin coach bag was provided by Judith Leiber, the uncontested American queen of embellished evening minaudières.

2018: “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”

For the Catholicism-related episode of the Met, Zendaya arrived ready for battle. She paid homage to Saint Joan of Arc with her couture Versace dress. Zendaya was able to persuade one of the most renowned Italian fashion houses to draw inspiration from France's patron saint. Zendaya could have greater influence than the EU Parliament in several areas.

2017: “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between”

Everybody doesn't follow the theme every year, and this maximalist Dolce & Gabbana dress didn't really fit the avant-garde dress code. However, Zendaya was a view to watch in the stunning floral gown.

2016: “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”

In 2016, Zendaya attended the Met Gala as a guest of Michael Kors. Her appearance that evening demonstrated that she had more traits with Liza Minnelli than just the fact that their names begin with the letter "Z." Zendaya donned a golden body hugging gown which was an inspiration from Studio 54. She styled her hair in bob to complete the look.

2015: “China: Through the Looking Glass”

In 2015, Zendaya wore a sculptural minidress from Fausto Puglisi. She attended as a guest of the Sicilian designer. The dress featured a black halter neck with a plunging neckline which was attached to a mini red-coloured skirt with a long train from behind. The skirt had some beautiful embroidery all over it and it was paired with a black belt and black pumps. Zendaya accessorised her outfit with a gorgeous head gare.
