Fahadh Faasil, known for his role in 'Pushpa The Rise', has stirred controversy with his recent comments on the discussion of actors and performances. In a recent conversation with Galatta Plus, the actor expressed his wish that people would limit their discussions about cinema to theatres or on their way home, rather than at dining tables.
"I don’t want people to talk about actors or performances on the dining table. Let them just discuss it in the theatre or maybe on the way back home the drive. Not more than that. Cinema is not beyond that. Cinema has a limit and let’s just…” Faasil stated.
While some fans appreciated his perspective, others on social media were not pleased with his statement. Many took to Twitter to share their reactions, with one fan humorously interpreting Faasil's comment as a polite way of advising people to "get a life." Another user pointed out that Faasil's remark seemed to challenge the existence of Twitter cinephiles, while others felt he was addressing toxic fandoms.

However, not all reactions were negative, with some users expressing that cinema has shaped who they are today and that discussing films brings them joy regardless of the setting. Others emphasized that cinema is limitless and has the power to create lasting memories in just a few hours.
