The film made a strong debut at the box office. The Family Star grossed approximately Rs 5.75 Crores in net earnings across India on its opening day, according to preliminary estimates, by sacnilk. On Friday, April 5, 2024, the Telugu movie recorded a total occupancy rate of 38.45%. Breakdown by showtimes: Morning shows had a 37.21% occupancy, afternoon shows had 40.85%, evening shows had 34.81%, and night shows had 40.92%.

Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda brought a refreshing dynamic to their onscreen pairing, delivering performances that were commendable.
