Salman Khan’s No Entry is one of the most celebrated comedy movies of all time. The 2005 film which also featured Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Celina Jaitley, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Boman Irani in key roles, is all set to comeback with its sequel. This time it reportedly stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor in the lead. Fardeen Khan, an important part of No Entry, warned the new cast of the sequel not to mess up with the script and its authenticity. He also stated otherwise he would be distraught.
In an interview with Zoom, Fardeen Khan said, “The talk of No Entry has been going on for so long. I think we have been discussing it in 2014-2015. I have been in touch with Boney Kapoor and Salman Khan, and I heard that it was happening in 6 months and then 8 months. So, there was this anticipation, the audience’s love for the movie, our love for our characters, everything worked really well, and we were all excited to be part of the sequel.”
He also said, “I mean when I heard I couldn’t stop laughing. Of course it is disappointing that it didn’t work out. But that happens sometimes too. It is what it is. As far as new casting and Boney, I have only love. I wish them all the best. For the actors who are going to be in the film all the best. It’s great franchise. Just don’t mess it up. Then I will be upset.”
Notably, the shoot of No Entry 2 will begin in December this year and will star 10 female leads along with Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres in 2025 marking 20 years of the first part. The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
