Fast X made its debut in Indian theatres on May 19 and had a promising opening at the box office. It maintained steady collections for a while but experienced a dip in numbers on May 22. Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X is an American action film and serves as a sequel to the 2021 film F9. It is the tenth main installment and the eleventh overall installment in the popular Fast & Furious franchise. The movie features Vin Diesel in the role of Dominic Toretto.
Fast X has been consistently generating significant earnings since its premiere on May 19, surpassing all initial predictions as it crossed the milestone of Rs 60 crore in its opening weekend. However, as anticipated for a Monday, the film experienced its first dip on the fifth day in India.

On Day 5, Fast X earned in single digits, specifically collecting Rs 7 crore. Consequently, the total collection of Fast X over four days, encompassing various languages such as English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, stands at approximately Rs 66.75 crore. The movie recorded an opening day collection of around Rs 12.5 crore.
About Fast X:
Fast X features Vin Diesel in the lead role, supported by a talented ensemble cast that includes Jason Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson, Helen Mirren, Brie Larson, Rita Moreno, Jason Statham, and Charlize Theron.
The storyline revolves around Toretto, who finds himself in the position of protecting his family from Dante Reyes (played by Momoa), a man seeking revenge for his father's demise and the loss of his family's fortune.
Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X is poised to achieve a remarkable international box office collection of $252.7 million. With its global opening, it secures the position of being the second highest-grossing Hollywood film of the year, trailing behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie. While the 10th installment of the Fast & Furious franchise has garnered mixed reviews from critics, it is performing well in the South Asian market, particularly in China.
Jagran English Fast X Review:
Leterrier's accomplishment in bringing together a colossal, intricately woven, worldwide, mind-boggling blockbuster is commendable. The film, with a runtime of 140 minutes, truly lives up to its title: it surpasses its previous editions in terms of speed, being ten times faster, and it also outshines the majority of them in terms of quality.
Of course, for the dedicated fanbase that propelled this franchise to become one of the largest in the world, Fast X manages to meet the anticipated criteria of providing enjoyable and over-the-top entertainment. However, at its essence, the movie epitomises a level of absurdity that is hard to surpass.
