While in India, the Father’s Day is marked every year on the third Sunday of June on the lines of America. In some European countries, such as Spain, Croatia, Italy and Portugal, the Father’s Day is celebrated on March 19th as Saint Joseph’s Day.
In the US, however, since 1972, every third Sunday of June is declared a Public Holiday to enable children to spend more time with their father's on the day dedicated especially to them.
