Fauji 2 Trailer: On Shah Rukh Khan’s 59th birthday, the makers of Fauji 2 released the trailer of the television series. The first instalment of the show premiered in 1989 which marked the acting debut of Bollywood superstar SRK. The second instalment showcases this generation of Fauji and their contributions to the nation. It brought a modern touch to SRK’s cult series. The series features Gauahar Khan and Vicky Jain in the lead roles. The gripping trailer featured all the prime faces except Vicky. His look is yet to be revealed. Fauji 2 will also mark the acting debut of Ankita Lokhande’s husband Vicky Jain.
While sharing the trailer of the show, makers wrote on social media “Mark your calendars and brace yourselves for the next generation of Faujis! A new era of courage and sacrifice begins. From 18th November Mon - Thu 9:00PM only on @ddnational.”
On this occasion, Gauahar said “Nothing more magical than a creative team such as this coming together to create one of the iconic shows of our time. I am very excited to be part of such a show that touched many hearts. Can’t wait for everyone to see what we have created with this version. Fauji is an emotion, so it’s also our responsibility to live up to the legacy of what that show gave everyone.”
Producer Sandeep Singh added, “The timeless appeal of Fauji lives on. With Fauji 2, we’re beyond thrilled to present this iconic story once again, now reimagined to celebrate the bravery and bonds of our armed forces for today’s generation.”
Fauji will be premiered in different languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bengali. The show will premiere on DD National from November 18 every Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
