Nora Fatehi was trolled after she recently shared her perspective on feminism during an interview on YouTuber Ranveer Allabadia’s podcast. In her discussion, Fatehi expressed her belief that she does not align with feminist ideology. She emphasised traditional gender roles, highlighting women's role as nurturers and stressing the significance of embracing motherhood. Additionally, Fatehi suggested that feminism has influenced men in a way that she perceives as detrimental, describing it as a form of 'brainwashing.'
Keeping her perspective, Nora said "This idea of I don’t need anybody. Feminism. I don’t believe in this shit. In fact, I think, feminism fucked up our society. The idea of being inherently completely independent and not having to get married and have kids and not having the male and female dynamics at home where the man is the provider, a breadwinner and the woman is the nurturer. I don’t believe in people who think that’s not true. I think women are nurturers, yes, they should go to work and have their own life and be independent but to a certain extent."
"They should also be ready to take on the role of being a mother, a wife and a nurturer. Just like a man should be ready to take the role of being a provider, a breadwinner and a father and a husband. We call it an old-school, traditional way of thinking. I call it the normal way of thinking. It’s just that feminism fucked it up a little bit. We are all equal in more sentimental things but in societal things, we are not equal. Feminism inherently, on the base level, is great. I also advocate for women’s rights, I also want girls to go to school. However, when feminism becomes radical, it becomes dangerous for the society, " the actress added.
Further, the actress stressed, "You have to be ready to be a provider, a supporter, ready to take a protective role in society. A lot of men don’t want to do it anymore. A lot of men now have also been brainwashed by feminism era…if a man can work on being more of a provider, and protector, the women can then focus on being more of the nurturer. Everyone brings something to the table. If you are bringing to the table money, food, shelter, I need to bring to the table kids, being a mother, taking care of the house, cooking, etc. If we are bringing the same thing to the table, then who’s going to bring the other stuff?"

While some agreed with her idea of feminism, some trolled her for the same. A user commented, "She should ask Priyanka Chopra about what does feminism mean? She will definitely explain tht to her in better way. Lol half knowledge is dangerous Nora." Another added, "The greatest enemy of knowledge isn’t ignorance, it’s the illusion of knowledge. This is dangerous!" A third commented, "girl if it wasn’t for feminism your dance form would not exist for even a day. Girls protecting other girls has led us all the freedom do do what we want today lmao."
On the professional front, Nora Fatehi's most recent appearance was in the directorial debut of Kunal Kemmu, titled "Madgaon Express.
