Director-producer Lokesh Kanagaraj recently announced his break from social media platforms, intending to concentrate solely on his upcoming project. Talking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Lokesh expressed gratitude to his audience for their unwavering love and support for 'Fight Club'. During this period, he mentioned that he would be unavailable and entirely dedicated to his creative endeavour.

In a heartfelt statement, Lokesh conveyed, "Greetings, firstly, I would like to extend my thanks to all of you for the love and support you have given for Fight Club which was the maiden presentation under my banner G Squad, and I will always be grateful for it. I am writing to announce that I will be taking a break from all social media platforms and my mobile to solely focus on my next project. During this time, I will not be reachable."

"I would like to again thank the audience for all the love and support you have showered upon me since my debut. Until then, take care, all of you. Stay positive and ignore Negativity! Much Love, Lokesh Kanagaraj," the statement added.

This break comes shortly after reports surfaced about Lokesh Kanagaraj's Facebook account was hacked. He posted a statement affirming his availability solely on Twitter and Instagram, disavowing any other social media accounts. The filmmaker shared, "Hey all, I'm only available on Twitter and Instagram, I do not have or use any other social media accounts. Please feel free to ignore and unfollow any other hoax accounts."

Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj's recent release, 'Leo,' made an indelible mark in the film industry, smashing box office records. The movie soared to become the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023, amassing an impressive worldwide collection surpassing Rs 500 crore. Starring a stellar cast including Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Mysskin, and Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film captivated audiences worldwide.

The filmmaker ventured into film production through his production house, G Squad. He unveiled the first look of his maiden presentation, 'Fight Club,' on November 29. This upcoming film stars actor-director Vijay in the lead role. Additionally, Lokesh's future projects include an eagerly anticipated, untitled venture featuring Rajinikanth.
