Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan's much-anticipated film Fighter has soared high on Netflix, becoming one of the top 3 most-watched movies globally. The action-packed aerial film, which features the duo as Indian Air Force pilots, made its OTT debut on Netflix on March 21, after a successful theatrical release on January 25, 2024. According to Netflix, Fighter secured the third spot in the list of most-watched films worldwide in the past week (March 18-24), despite having the highest number of hours viewed.

In just four days, from March 21 to March 24, Fighter garnered an impressive 5.9 million views on the streaming platform, with a total of 16.2 million hours viewed. This achievement placed it as the third most-watched non-English film globally, highlighting its immense popularity among viewers.

The top spot for the week on Netflix was claimed by Cat and Dog (Original title: Chien et chat), a heartwarming French comedy directed by Reem Kherici, which follows the escapades of a pet cat and dog at an airport. It garnered 6.7 million views and 9.7 million hours viewed. Following closely behind at number two was the Turkish film Art of Love, directed by Recai Karagöz, with 6.6 million views and 10.9 million hours viewed. Sara Ali Khan-starrer "Murder Mubarak" secured the fourth spot on the list.

Fighter tells the story of the Air Dragons, an elite unit commissioned by the Air Headquarters to combat militant activities. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film boasts a stellar cast including Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
