The highly anticipated historical series Freedom At Midnight has released its second teaser, captivating audiences with its exploration of the India-Pakistan partition of 1947. Based on the book by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins, the show aims to depict the political turmoil and emotional chaos surrounding India's quest for independence from British rule.

The teaser opens with the 1920 Nagpur Session of the Indian National Congress, featuring the influential Sarojini Naidu. As she introduces the session, Mahatma Gandhi proposes a motion for non-cooperation, which Muhammad Ali Jinnah vehemently opposes. Tensions rise as Jinnah warns that allowing protests could lead to unrest even after the British leave. The crowd's passionate chants against Jinnah highlight the political divisions of the time, setting the stage for a compelling narrative.

Mahatma Gandhi counters Jinnah's scepticism, asserting that the public supports his vision for non-cooperation. As the discourse intensifies, Jinnah's declaration of his resignation from the Congress marks a pivotal moment in history, leading him to form a party that advocates for an independent Pakistan.
