Genie First Look Out: Jayam Ravi will soon return to the big screen with his upcoming fantasy drama 'Genie. The actor will be seen as the mystical person in the movie and can be seen sporting a man bun and wearing a red vest in the poster. He is also seen surrounded by cupcakes, doughnuts, cash and gold coins freeing him from the chains in first look of 'Genie'.

Sharing the first look of 'Genie', Jayam Ravi wrote, "First look of #Genie. A movie which is unique and close to my heart. Get ready for the magical experience. Produced by @VelsFilmIntl Dr @IshariKGanesh. An @arrahman Musical, An #Arjunan Jr. Magical."

The release date of 'Genie' is not announced yet. Apart from Jayam Ravi, the movie also stars Krithi Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles.

On the work front, Jayam Ravi was last seen in 'Siren', along with Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Yogi Babu and Samuthirakani. The movie received a mixed response from the audience.

He will next star in the Tamil comedy-drama 'Brother' along with Priyanka Arul Mohan. Jayam has also been roped to play a pivotal role in Mani Ratnam's movie 'Thug Life' and will be seen alongside Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Joju George, Abhirami, Nassar, Gautham Karthik and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The movie is being produced by Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran, Mani Ratnam, and Siva Ananth under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.
