The highly anticipated movie has achieved a remarkable opening, earning approximately ₹55 crore on its first day across India, setting a new standard for Tamil cinema. Despite a decline on Day 8, GOAT continues to perform strongly at the ticket windows. Thalapathy Vijay's film remains on track to hit the ₹200 crore milestone.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, GOAT boasts a stellar cast including Prabhu Deva, Vijay Chandrasekhar, Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Yogi Babu, and Meenakshi Chaudhary.

The Telugu film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) experienced a minor decline in its daily revenue, earning approximately ₹6.50 crore on its eighth day since release, as reported by Sacnilk.com. The film has generated a total net collection of ₹177.75 crore within India. On its eighth day, the film's occupancy rates were 24.15 percent for the Tamil version, 8 percent for the Hindi version, and 13.27 percent for the Telugu version.
GOAT's successful blend of action, drama, and emotional depth resonates strongly with audiences. With a wide release in over 4,000 theaters worldwide, the film’s robust opening day numbers were bolstered by its extensive distribution. Vijay plays the role of a field agent and spy with over 65 successful missions in his career, and the trailer showcased his dual role as both a father and son.

GOAT was produced with a total budget of ₹400 crore, encompassing promotional costs, and an extra ₹200 crore specifically allocated for Vijay's salary.

In The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), Vijay takes on dual roles as M. S. Gandhi and Jeevan/Sanjay. Akhil plays the younger Jeevan, while Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer portray Gandhi's friends and colleagues: Sunil, Kalyan, and Ajay, respectively. Mohan appears as Chandra Menon, and Jayaram as Naseer. Sneha voices Gandhi's wife and Jeevan's mother, while Laila plays Sunil's wife and a doctor.
