JE Entertainment Desk: 'Goblin Slayer' is one of the most highly anticipated anime series, which is now making a comeback with its second season this year. The makers of the series unveiled its first teaser trailer showcasing the iconic characters in motion.
The anime is based on Kumo Kagyu and Noboru Kannatsuki's original light novel series, which initially created controversy during its grand premiere in 2018. However, having a loyal number of followers, the first season stood out to be a hit and now the makers have released the coming back of the series which is already creating tons of buzz on social media.
The exact date of the series is yet to be revealed by the makers, but the series is expected to arrive in the fall when the positioning of the new anime roster for summer 2023 has been kept in the note. The promotional campaign of the anime series will soon start, with the release of the teaser trailer, which has unveiled a fresh script for the formidable Goblin Slayer.
The new season will be released on Crunchyroll, where the cast of the first season will be reprising their role. However, Takaharu Ozaki, who was the director of the first season, will be serving as chief director for season two. The series composition artist Hideyuki Kurata, and the design for the characters Hiromi Kato will also revive their roles.
'Goblin Slayer' revolves around the story of an extraordinary man who has risen to the silver rank solely by hunting goblins. A group finds themselves in a confusing place when the one who comes to their rescue is none other than the Goblin Slayer.
The second season promises to deliver more intense battles and a gripping adventure where the Goblin Slayer will mark its return to slay the goblins and captivate the audience once again with a continuation of the previous saga.
