Golden Globes 2024: Greta Gerwig's film 'Barbie' emerged as a dominant force in the Golden Globe Awards nominations, securing an impressive nine nods. The nominations encompassed categories such as best picture in the musical or comedy genre, along with acting nominations for Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Additionally, three original songs from the film earned nominations. Following closely behind in nominations was 'Oppenheimer,' which shares a release date and an intriguing meme connection with 'Barbie.' This film garnered eight nominations, including recognition in the best picture drama category, as well as nominations for acclaimed actors Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr, and Emily Blunt.
However, some anticipated projects such as 'Ferrari,' 'Napoleon,' 'Origin,' and 'Swarm' were notably absent from the nominations list.
