Actor Govinda Shot News: The actor was rushed to a hospital after sustaining a bullet injury this morning. He accidentally shot himself in the leg with his own revolver, as confirmed by a senior official from the Mumbai Police. Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg around 4:45 am while preparing to leave for an appointment.
The actor was quickly taken to the hospital, where he is now recovering. According to ANI, Govinda's manager stated that the actor was preparing to leave for Kolkata when the incident occurred. He was placing his licensed revolver in its case when it slipped from his hand, accidentally discharging a bullet that struck his leg.
"Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now." Shashi Sinha said.
In an audio message from hospital, the 60-year-old actor expresses gratitude, stating that the blessings of his fans, parents and guru helped him through. "I was hit by a bullet, but it has been extracted. I thank the doctors here and your prayers."

The agency previously reported that Govinda is hospitalized at CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai. The police are investigating the incident and have confiscated his weapon.
