Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been making headlines for quite some time for their divorce rumours. There were several reports that claimed that Auja sent divorce notice six months ago to the superstar. Not only that the actor’s lawyer revealed that their issues have been resolved. Amidst all the rumours about their separation, Sunita Ahuja has put an end to all the speculation by giving a befitting answer to all the claims. In a viral video, Ahuja can be seen talking to the media persons and clarified her pervious statement of ‘living separately for 12 years’.
Sunita Ahuja said, “Alag-alag rehte hain matlab jab unhone politics join kiya tha tab meri beti jawaan ho rahi thi, toh saare karyakarta ghar par aate the. Ab jawaan beti hai, hum hain, hum shorts pehen ke ghar mein ghoomte hain, toh isliye humne saamne office le liya tha. Humko, mujhe aur Govinda ko is duniya mein agar koi alag kar de, kisi ka mai ka laal toh saamne aa jaye. (We live separately because when Govinda joined politics, my daughter was growing up, and party workers would frequently visit our home. Since we would wear shorts and move around freely at home, we decided to get an office nearby. If anyone in this world dares to separate me and Govinda, let them come forward).”
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been married for 37 years. They tied knot in 1987. They became parents for the first time in 1988 with their daughter Tina. They also have a son named Yashvardhan, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Sai Rajesh's romantic movie. The family can often be seen attending Bollywood parties and being part of reality shows together. Well, Sunita Ahuja dismissed the rumours of her separation with Govinda, many of their admirers have been relieved.
