About Ground Zero

The plot focuses on the aftermath of 2001 Parliament attack. A BSF officer named Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey leads a 2-year investigation which will uncover the mastermind, Ghazi Baba. This enables India’s biggest anti-terror operation. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, Sai Tamhankar, Aeklavya Tomer, Lalit Prabhakar, Mukesh Tiwari and Zoya Hussain in key roles.

In a recent interview with ANI, Emraan said “This is the first time a film has been made specifically to honour the BSF. We’ve seen stories about the Indian Army and police before, but Ground Zero pays respect to BSF personnel, their heroism, and the sacrifices they’ve made for the country. That, in itself, is a significant milestone.”

“Preparing to play an army officer, a BSF Commandant, was one of the most challenging and humbling experiences of my career. These men operate in the roughest terrains, under constant threat, and still maintain an unwavering sense of duty,” he added.

While sharing the trailer of the movie, makers wrote on Instagram “Pehredaari bahaut ho gayi, ab prahaar hoga. Ground Zero, trailer out now. #GroundZero, in theatres on 25th April.”
