Guntur Kaaram Box Office Collection Day 1: Mahesh Babu's latest film has made a substantial impact on the Tollywood box office on its opening day. The action thriller has made an impressive start for the Telugu film industry in 2024. According to early estimates for the first day, the movie has garnered a remarkable collection, surpassing 40 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Helmed by Trivikram Srinivas, the cast of 'Guntur Kaaram' includes Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary in pivotal roles. The film showed promising signs in advance bookings, reflecting positive anticipation from the audience and a potentially successful opening at the box office. As reported by Sacnilk, 'Guntur Kaaram' has achieved an impressive gross of Rs 44.50 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (APTG). The movie, released on January 12, boasted an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 68.66 per cent, with 74.67 per cent during morning shows, 61.43 per cent in the afternoon shows, and 69.89 per cent in the evening shows.
In terms of comparisons, 'Guntur Kaaram' has outperformed the opening figures of Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa Part One' (Telugu version), which reportedly collected Rs 35.50 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The film has clashed with Teja Sajja's 'Hanu Man.' With strong pre-sales reported for both films, 'Guntur Kaaram' appears to have an edge in box office collections on the first day.

The Mahesh Babu starrer, 'Guntur Kaaram,' also features an ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj, and Sunil in pivotal roles. The film delves into the narrative of a don from Guntur and his love saga. Produced by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations, the storyline follows the life of Ramana (Mahesh Babu), who resides with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after being estranged by his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan).
The plot takes a dramatic turn when Ramana witnesses a murder committed by Satyam, leading to his father's imprisonment. Simultaneously, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents relinquishing property rights. As he seeks answers about his past and confronts his mother, the narrative unfolds with intrigue and emotion.
