Hansika Motwani has been sharing glimpses of her wedding preparations through her series titled Love, Shaadi, and Drama. The show offers fans an inside view of her wedding, including her pre-wedding meltdowns and unreasonable demands for the ceremonies.
The unfiltered and entertaining series has been receiving positive feedback. In the upcoming third episode, set to release on Friday, Hansika's husband Sohael Khaturiya surprised her by getting a tattoo of her name.
The next episode of the show features Hansika finalising her sangeet outfit, with her mother and Sohael expressing awe at her pink lehenga. Additionally, the episode will showcase the groom's decision to surprise Hansika by getting a tattoo of her name. During the process, he experiences pain and decides to video call her, leaving the actor speechless.

As per reports, Hansika's brother Prashant had attemptted to discourage Soahel from getting the tattoo since he knows that Hansika is afraid of needles. However, Soahel, who is deeply in love, persisted in his decision, wishing to demonstrate his affection for his future wife. It is still unknown how Hansika will react to this gesture as the makers have not disclosed it yet.
During the initial episode of the series, Hansika spoke about the online criticism she received for supposedly "stealing" her friend's husband and causing their separation. The actor stated, "Just because I knew the person at that time doesn't mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I pay for being a celebrity."
Sohael added, "The news that I was previously married came out and it came out in a wrong light. It came out as if the breakup was because of Hansika, which is absolutely untrue and baseless… I was first married in 2014 and that marriage lasted for a very short time. But just because we have been friends and someone saw pictures of her attending my wedding, is why this speculation started."
Hansika Motwani got engaged to Sohael in November 2022 and they got married on December 4 at Mundota Fort and Palace near Jaipur. Hansika's show Love Shaadi Drama chronicles her wedding preparations and events. This show is being released before Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's wedding documentary, which is also focused on their wedding and will be available on Netflix.
