It delves into their day-to-day experiences and personal stories during a tumultuous period marked by the Indian independence movement against British colonial rule.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar Twitter Review

If you are planning to watch Heeramandi anytime soon, here is a quick Twitter review for you:

‘Heera Mandi’ was officially unveiled as a new project in April 2021, fulfilling a vision that had been in the mind of its creator, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for nearly 14 years. This eight-part series represents Bhansali’s initial venture into the world of streaming entertainment. Production for the series kicked off in June 2022.

About a year into filming, in May 2023, Bhansali requested reshoots, which extended the production schedule, concluding the filming process in June 2023. According to Bollywood Hungama, Bhansali took on the role of directing the pilot episode himself. For the subsequent episodes, the directorial baton was passed to Mitakshara Kumar, a seasoned collaborator of Bhansali who had previously served as an associate director on his acclaimed films ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’. Kumar stepped into this role following Vibhu Puri, who had originally been selected to direct but was later replaced.
