Hera Pheri 3 is finally nearing a joyful turn as Suniel Shetty, one of the film’s beloved lead actors, confirmed that the teaser of the comedy movie will come out sometime before the end of IPL 2025. This exciting update has left fans thrilled, especially those who have been longing to see the return of the classic trio: Raju, Shyam, and Baburao played by Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal respectively.
In a recent interview with Amar Ujala, Suniel Shetty revealed that they have finally started shooting Hera Pheri 3 and that the teaser has already been filmed. The Kesari Veer actor stated that the teaser would be unveiled before the IPL 2025 final. “We have just started shooting and have shot the teaser. I think it is expected to be released around the IPL,” Shetty said.

Audiences have loved the chemistry and comic timing of this actor trio, which has made the Hera Pheri franchise a cult classic in Indian cinema. The first film, Hera Pheri (2000), and its sequel Phir Hera Pheri (2006) continue to enjoy popularity across generations thanks to their humour, iconic dialogues, and memorable characters.
Suniel Shetty also highlighted the real fun when the three of them come together. "When the three of us are together, it is full of masti. Honestly, it should come with a danger sign. Because when we’re together, people around us go crazy trying to control the madness," he joked. He also highlighted that despite all the fun, the cast and crew are bringing the same level of commitment and hard work to the project as they did more than two decades ago.

Adding to the excitement is the return of Priyadarshan as the director of Hera Pheri 3. The acclaimed filmmaker, who directed the original film, is once again at the helm, bringing a sense of continuity and nostalgia to the project. Priyadarshan has acknowledged that creating a third part in such a memorable franchise is not easy. “There will be too many expectations. The characters have aged, and the audience must believe in their journey again,” he said in an earlier interview.
Set to arrive nearly 24 years after the original Hera Pheri, the third installment is both a nostalgic trip and a fresh take. Fans are hoping the film captures the same spirit that made the franchise legendary.
