In a startling incident, Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, was reportedly slapped by an on-duty female Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable at the Mohali Airport. She recently won the election and has been elected as a Lok Sabha MP from Mandi on the ticket of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with 5,37,022 votes.

Kangana Ranaut was reportedly slapped by a constable-rank CISF official at the Chandigarh airport. Following the incident, an inquiry has been initiated to conduct further investigation into the matter. If reports are to be believed, the female CISF staff identified as Kulwinder Kaur was displeased with Kangana's comments regarding Punjab ladies during the farmers' agitation against the three farm laws. The actress had suggested that Punjab ladies participated in the farmers' agitation for financial gain, which apparently led to the altercation.

According to News18, the top police official said, "Today, Kangna Ranaut, MP from Mandi (Himachal Pradesh), and Bollywood actress, reached Mohali International Airport to visit Delhi by flight. When she reached the SHA area for frisking, a female constable of CISF, Kulwinder Kaur, conducted her frisking, and after frisking, the female constable slapped Kangna Ranaut."

Why Kangana Ranaut Was Slapped?

"Kulwinder Kaur said that Kangna Ranaut made a derogatory statement about Punjab ladies during the farmers’ agitation against three farm laws, implying that Punjab ladies participated in the farmers’ agitation for money." The official stated that Kangana may file a complaint with the Union Home Ministry, as she conveyed her intention to do so to CISF senior officials at the airport. "The new MP from Mandi may file a complaint with the Union Home Ministry, as she conveyed this to CISF senior officials at the airport," he added.

The flight departed at 4:10 PM, while Kulwinder remains before the commandant of CISF. Officials note that she already receives security cover from CRPF, but the on-duty constable's action of slapping her at the airport caught everyone off guard.

The incident that happened today at Chandigarh airport was during the security check. As soon as I came out after the security check, the lady in the second cabin, a CISF security staff came from the side, hit me in my face and started abusing me.
