Nani has created excitement about his upcoming projects after the grand success of 'Dasara'. He is all set to return to the big screen with his heartwarming film 'Hi Nanna' and will collaborate with Mrunal Thakur for the first time. The movie focuses on the pure love and bond between a father and his daughter and how their life changes when Mrunal's character comes into their life.

In the teaser, we are introduced to a six-year-old girl Mahi, who shares a loving bond with her father, played by Nani, and calls him her best friend. Mrunal's character Yashna comes into the life of this father-daughter duo and develops a beautiful bond with them.
The songs of 'Hi Nanna' have already been winning the listeners' hearts and created more buzz about the film. Sharing the song 'Samayama', Mruna wrote on Instagram, "I’m a big fan of @heshamabdulwahab work, and what he’s created for #HiNanna is beyond words. How do you create this magic @heshamabdulwahab!! Spill the secret man! This single instantly found a spot in my heart (and my Playlist)...I've been grooving to this lovely song for weeks and I'm sooo excited to share it with the world!"

The movie will be produced by Mohan Cherukuri and his friends Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Murthy K S under the newly-formed Vyra Entertainments banner. Directed by Shouryuv, 'Hi Nanna' will be released in theatres on December 7, 2023.
On the work front, Nani was last seen in 'Dasara' alongside Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani and Sai Kumar. Nani will reportedly star in 'Hit 3' but won't start working on the film soon.
Mrunal Thakur has signed her third Telugu film 'VD13' opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She was last seen in the Netflix film 'Lust Stories 2'. Mrunal will star in the Hindi thriller film 'Pooja Meri Jaan'.
