Housefull 5: The much-anticipated comedy franchise Housefull is returning with its fifth instalment and this time, it promises even more star power and laughs. Slated for release in 2025, Housefull 5 will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role, with a fresh storyline filled with comedic twists and turns.

What makes this upcoming film stand out is the inclusion of five female leads as per a Pinkvilla report, adding a new dynamic to the ensemble cast. Joining the comedy madness are Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh and Soundarya Sharma. While the previous films predominantly focused on male actors, this addition brings a refreshing balance to the cast.

Besides Akshay Kumar, the film boasts a lineup of celebrated actors, including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff and Dino Morea. True to the spirit of the Housefull series, the film promises a chaotic adventure, filled with confusion and hilarity.

As per reports by Pinkvilla, filming for Housefull 5 is set to begin on September 15, 2024, in London. The cast and crew will engage in a 45-day shooting schedule, starting in the bustling city before moving on to a cruise setting. A source close to the production mentioned, “They will be shooting some sequences in London first, and then board the cruise where the entire house will come down with confusion and laughter.”

As with previous instalments, Akshay Kumar's character is expected to have a quirky trait that will leave a lasting impression on viewers. Though details about this trait are being kept under wraps, it is expected to be as memorable as his past roles, such as Sandy and Sundi.
