Knock Off: The highly anticipated Kdrama has officially announced its full cast lineup, promising a thrilling ride for viewers. Starring top actors Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah, this drama is set against the backdrop of the 1997 Asian financial crisis, also known as the IMF crisis in South Korea. The storyline revolves around a man who undergoes a dramatic transformation, going from an ordinary office worker to becoming the king of the global counterfeit market. Directed by Park Hyun Suk, known for his work on hit dramas such as Forest of Secrets 2 (Stranger 2), Uncontrollably Fond and Song of the Bandits, the show is already creating a buzz.

The first look of actor Kim Soo Hyun as Kim Sung Joon was also released by Disney+, showcasing his various looks for the drama. The Kdrama co-starring Jo Bo Ah is expected to be released in 2025.

Knock Off Main Cast and Their Roles:

Kim Soo Hyun will take on the role of Kim Sung Joon, the central character whose life changes drastically due to the financial crisis. Sung Joon, originally an ordinary office worker, becomes a master in the counterfeit world, making him the drama's focal point.

Jo Bo Ah is set to play Song Hye Jung, a special judicial police officer who crosses paths with Sung Joon. Her character is expected to bring a strong and dynamic presence to the storyline, as she navigates the complexities of her role in the counterfeit world.

The drama boasts a stellar supporting cast that promises to add depth and nuance to the story:

Yoo Jae Myung will portray Kim Man Sik, the father of Kim Sung Joon. Man Sik is a key figure who introduces his son to the world of counterfeiting, laying the foundation for his transformation.

Lee Jung Eun makes a special appearance as Park Ae Ja, a retired civil servant and the devoted mother of Kim Sung Joon. Her character's maternal bond with Sung Joon is likely to add emotional depth to the drama.

Kim Eui Sung is cast as Bae Pil Gu, the uncle of Bae Nu Ri (played by Bang Hyo Rin), and a crucial player in the Busan counterfeit market. His involvement in the plot is expected to heighten the tension and intrigue.

Bang Hyo Rin, known for her performance in Hail to Hell, will play Bae Nu Ri, the young and ruthless chairperson of the Saemmul Market, a haven for counterfeit goods. Despite her youth, Bae Nu Ri is a force to be reckoned with, combining innocence with a tough exterior.

Kwon Nara, famous for her role in Itaewon Class, will take on the role of Moon Yu Bin, a designer of high-end counterfeit bags. Her character’s expertise in crafting counterfeit luxury items will be crucial to the storyline.

Park Se Wan, who impressed audiences in Victory, is set to play Moon Da Bin, Yu Bin’s younger sister. Da Bin also specializes in making counterfeit bags, and the sister duo’s relationship with Sung Joon and other characters is expected to be a key plot element.

Kim Hye Eun plays Jang Ji Soo, the lawyer and strategist for Bae Nu Ri. Her character is likely to be a calculating and resourceful figure in the counterfeit world.

Go Kyu Pil, known for his unique charm, will portray Tonkatsu, Bae Nu Ri’s right-hand man and the leader of Saemmul Market’s action team. His role as a loyal enforcer will add an element of danger to the story.

Kim Moo Yeol makes a special appearance as Baek Jong Min, the task force leader investigating the counterfeiters, Bae Nu Ri and Kim Sung Joon. As a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutor’s Office, Jong Min’s pursuit of justice will add a compelling cat-and-mouse dynamic to the series.

Jung Man Sik will play Detective Lee Ki Bong, a character whose investigation into the counterfeit market is sure to add layers of complexity to the plot.

Kang Mal Geum will portray Investigator Jegal Hyun Sook, whose involvement in the counterfeit investigation will contribute to the show's tension.
