JE Entertainment Desk: Vidyut Jammwal is another name for action in Bollywood, where the actor has given some hit action blockbusters in the past and has proved his spirit towards intense action scenes. With swift and effortless action sequences, Vidyut Jammwal manages to sway away the audience and has been doing so in some of his past hits including 'Force', 'Bullet Raja', 'Commando' series, and recently was seen in 'IB 71.'

'IB 71' saw its theatrical release on May 12, 2023, and now is coming to Disney+Hotstar for you to witness the intense action sequences given by the actor himself. The film features Vidyut Jammwal in the role of an IB Agent Dev Jammwal and also features veteran actor Anupam Kher.

Besides the two main characters, the film also features Vishal Jethwa, Faizan Khan, Ashwath Bhatt, Danny Sura, Dalip Tahil, and Suvrat Joshi in pivotal roles. Vidyut Jammal also took to his Twitter and announced the arrival of his film on OTT.

He wrote, "Vidyut Jamwal had even tweeted about the same on social media. The actor tweeted stating, The untold story of India's greatest spy mission is here! #IB71onHotstar streaming from 7th July on @disneyplusHS @AnupamPKher @vishaljethwa06 @ashwathbhatt13 @daliptahil @DannySura @ActionHeroFilm1 @abbassayyed771 @TSeries @RelianceEnt".

According to a report in OTTPlay, Vidyut Jammwal also shared his experience working in the film. He said, "Being an army kid I have seen the lives of our unsung heroes up-close and it was my personal urge to bring their stories to the world. Producing a film that puts the intelligence bureau at the centre of the narrative is my way of paying tribute to their sacrifices and contributions."

Next, Anupam Kher also spoke highly about the film and said, "IB 71 reveals an unexplored chapter from our history, a crucial turning point for India. Inspired by true events, Sankalp's vision transported us to that era, immersing us in the tension and thrill. Proud to be part of this story, eagerly anticipating its streaming on Disney + Hotstar".

The director of the film, Sankalp Reddy, also spoke opened up about his journey working with the actors and said, "A legendary chronicle of India's biggest war was a story to explore, with the finest actors Vidyut Jammwal, Anupam Kher and many others this inspiring story was brought to life. Each actor passionately symbolizes the story, evoking the shared passion for this historical chapter. With the film streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, IB 71 allows a wider audience to experience the epic tale of that war."

Talking about Vidyut Jammwal's professional front, the actor next will be seen in 'Sher Singh Rana', and has 'Crakk' in the pipeline. He will soon revive his role in the 'Commando' series and will be sharing the screen with Adah Sharma.
