Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have done several movies together over the years including cult comedy movies like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The stars will again reunite in Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Bhooth Bangla. They are currently shooting for the horror comedy movie which is set to be released in theatres in 2026. Akshay and Paresh celebrated Makar Sankranti on the sets of Bhooth Bangla. They were seen flying kites in the clear sky.
Akshay Kumar wrote on Instagram “Celebrating the vibrant spirit of Makar Sankranti on the set of #BhoothBangla with my dear friend @pareshrawalofficial ! 🪁 Here’s to laughter, good vibes, and soaring high just like the kites! And sending my best wishes for a joyous Pongal, Uttarayan and Bihu.” Fans also wished them back. A user said “Happy makar Sankranti akki paaji and everyone.”

Bhooth Bangla stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Naurang Yadav and Govardhan Asrani in stars. As per reports, the film is set to be released in theatres in April 2026. While sharing the announcement of the collaboration with Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan wrote on his social media handles “After 14 years, I’m reuniting with my old friend @akshaykumar for a horror-comedy film, marking my first collaboration with @ektarkapoor.
