Aamir Khan's starrer Taare Zameen Par recently clocked 17 years on December 21, 2024. The film was appreciated by the audience and the critics for showcasing children’s psychological in best way. But years later, Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh called the film ‘Wahiyat’ (disgusting) in a recent interaction with Samdish Bhatia. He stated that a child is primarily shaped by his father’s influence. Yograj further added that the film was very disgusting.

Yograj said “Baccha woh he banega jo Baap kahega (A child will be moulded the way his father wants).” When asked about Taare Zameen Par, Yograj added “Badi hi wahiyat film hai" (It was very disgusting). Main aisi picture nahi dekhta.”

The former cricketer added, “Hindi film koi dekhne ki cheez hai? I don’t like Indian actors (Are Hindi films worth watching?). He also called actors like Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor ‘bekaar’ (rubbish). While talking about Baahubali, the star said “Ye sab bekar. Kya Baahubali, leave it (These are all rubbish, leave it).”
