Shraddha Kapoor's Nagin: After breaking all records with the hit film Stree 2 in 2024, actor Shraddha Kapoor is set to enthrall audiences in a never-before-seen avatar in the upcoming movie Nagin. It now seems that the makers of the film are finally ready to take it to the floors. In an exciting update, producer Nikhil Dwivedi shared a glimpse of the script on the special occasion of Makar Sankranti.
Nagin film producer Nikhil Dwivedi took to his Instagram stories on Tuesday and posted a photo of the script, which read, “Nagin: An Epic Tale of Love & Sacrifice.” It also added, “Created & Developed by SAFFRON Magicworks.” He captioned the post, "Makar Sankranti & Finally…”
The film Naagin has been in the news for a while, generating many speculations about the cast, storyline, and release date. In 2020, Shraddha expressed her excitement about playing Nagin and revealed how she grew up watching and admiring actress Sridevi's 1986 movie Nagina. Her post on X handle read, “It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Naagin on screen. I have grown up watching, admiring, and idolizing Sridevi ma'am's Nagina and Nigahen and have always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore.”The excitement among fans continues to grow as they eagerly await the first look and poster of Shraddha from the film. Fans have shared painted and digitized versions of Shraddha as a Nagin on social media.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor is still basking in the success of her movie Stree 2, which also starred Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film was released on August 15, 2024, and became a blockbuster.
If reports are to be believed, Shraddha will reunite with Aditya Roy Kapur in Mohit Suri’s upcoming romantic drama. The duo previously starred together in films like Aashiqui 2 and Ok Jaanu.
