After being embroiled in an ugly and much-talked about controvery with veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, music maestro Lucky Ali is ready to take on a new spiritual journey. The singer is all set to perform his first Umrah along with his children, marking it as a deep and personal milestone. He shared the pictures of his sacred experience and further asked for forgiveness. His fans and netizens expressed their admiration and showered him with respect and love.
On Monday, Lucky Ali shared a post on Instagram with his son Ta'awwuz Ali. Along with the photo, he wrote, "First umrah with the kids If I hurt anyone I ask for forgiveness…… lots of love everyone."

His post on social media went viral in no time and gathered great appreciation from his fans and well-wishers. One of the users wrote, "Ali, you're lucky! Not everyone gets a chance for such a humble & divine performance. Share your favorite recitation from the house of God." Another user wrote, "You didn't hurt. You healed a generation."
Hailing the singer, a user commented, "You are a good soul thats why u r LUCKY."

Lucky Ali And Javed Akhtar Controversy
The controversy between lyricist Javed Akhtar and singer Lucky Ali started when a video of Akhtar went viral on the internet, where he urged Hindus “not to become like muslims.” In response to this comment, Lucky slammed him by saying, “Never original and ugly as f**k.”
Ali later clarified his statement by sharing a tweet. He wrote, “what I meant was that arrogance is ugly.... it was a mistaken communique' on my part.... monsters may have feelings too and I apologise if I hurt anyones monstrosity.....”

Lucky Ali’s Career
Lucky Ali started his music career with his debut album, Sunoh, in 1996, which included his iconic song, O Sanam and it turned out to be a major hit. His first album was able to capture a large audience thanks to his soulful and melancholic voice.
He became a leading figure in the 90s indi-pop scene with his album Sifar in 1998.
Lucky's major breakout came in 2000 with his iconic song Ek Pal Ka Jeena in the movie Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai. He also sang for many movies like Sur, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Anjaaa Anjaani, Tamasha and others.
