Dhurandhar movie song Shararat by Jasmine Sandlas and Madhubanti Bagchi, featuring Krystle D'Souza and Ayesha Khan, has been making waves. The song was played during a high-profile wedding in Karachi in the movie. The well-known TV actor has now disclosed that she is not comfortable with the many remarks on social media that pit her against Ayesha.

Krystle D'Souza discussed how she was being pitted against Ayesha Khan on social media following their song Shararat in an interview with News18 Showsha. She also reacted to the trolls, who have been attempting to set the two against one another.

Krystle D'Souza said, "Four women have come together, and that’s one of the best things about Shararat. I see trolls saying, 'She did better than the other'. But it’s not about that. Who cares? Enjoy the song and have fun! It’s so sad that in order to praise someone, you drag another person down. I feel sad for people who do this. They don’t understand that everyone has their own talents and share of struggles. We all work hard and try to be consistent year after year (sic)."

Krystle D'Souza continued, "To take that away with one such comment is just stupid and immature. I, in fact, have seen a lot of women making these comments. As women, the least we can do is support another woman. If they can’t support, then they should just keep quiet. We’ve reached a certain stage in our life and by making such comments, you’re dragging the whole race back by years. We should push and build each other. A world filled with supportive women is beautiful."

Krystle D'Souza remembered watching Madhubanti and Jasmine singing on screen while she danced with Ayesha Khan. She said Ayesha was incredible and acknowledged that she was in awe of the situation.

She mentioned that Shararat's portrayal of women is another reason why it has struck a deep chord with viewers. The song avoids objectification even though it's a high-energy dance routine. "The fact that it took the story ahead was something I appreciated. But let me tell you that I love watching sensual songs. I enjoy it when women are doing their item songs sensually. I don't know if I'll be bold enough someday to do something like that. It should be shot aesthetically. For now, I don't have guts. So, I'm glad that this is show it had to be (sic)".
