Alia Bhatt And Hrithik Roshan Win Best Actor Honours At IIFA 2023: Keeping up with her illustrious career and reputation in the film industry, Alia Bhatt bagged the prestigious Best Actor Award for "Performance In A Leading Role - Female" at IIFA 2023." However, despite her outstanding performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, the 30-year-old actress was unable to personally accept the award as she was not present at the event.

According to reports, Alia Bhatt chose to skip the event due to a family emergency. Reportedly, her maternal grandfather, Narendra Razdan, is facing serious health issues. Therefore, in Alia's absence, the award was received by producer Jayantilal Gada on her behalf.

Earlier this month, Alia was announced as the first Indian global ambassador for the prestigious fashion label, Gucci. The announcement was made on Instagram by the fashion brand, accompanied by a caption that read, "Alia Bhatt is the House's newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur were captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag."

Alia also attend the Gucci Cruise 2024 show held in Seoul. Additionally, she made her Met Gala debut this year in May. The Raazi actress made a stunning appearance on the red carpet, donning an enchanting white gown meticulously crafted by the esteemed fashion designer, Prabal Gurung.

She teamed the gown with embellished gloves, matching diamond earrings and rings. For the glam, she opted for a centre-parted half-tied ponytail, high heels, subtle smoky eye shadow, kohl-lined eyes, nude lip shade, and a dewy base.

May 27, 2023 clinched the prestigious Best Actor in a Leading Role award at IIFA 2023, held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, for his powerful portrayal in the action-packed film Vikram Vedha, co-starring Saif Ali Khan.

In his acceptance speech, Hrithik said, "I have lived with Vedha for many years now. It began right here in Abu Dhabi. I gave my first shot as Vedha here...it feels like life has come full circle to me.

“Vedha helped me unleash madness inside me which I did not know that it exist. Thank you universe and thank you Vedha for helping me discover that madness and helping me discover the strength to hold that madness. I love you guys...I will never take you for granted."

The film is an official Hindi remake of a Tamil project with the same title, featuring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

The narrative of Vikram Vedha takes unexpected twists and turns as a resilient police officer named Vikram (portrayed by Saif Ali Khan) embarks on a mission to pursue and apprehend a notorious gangster named Vedha (played by Hrithik Roshan).

What follows is a thrilling game of cat-and-mouse, where Vedha, a skilled storyteller, assists Vikram in uncovering hidden truths through a series of captivating tales that give rise to profound moral complexities.

The remake of Vikram Vedha has been directed by the same duo, Pushkar and Gayathri, who also helmed the original film. Next, Hrithik has Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and War 2 with Jr NTR in the pipeline.
