Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for the release of his upcoming horror action comedy movie The Bhootni, which is set to hit theatres on May 1. Since the announcement and trailer launch, the film has become the talk of the town for its storyline and cast. Keeping up the anticipation, ahead of the theatrical run, makers launched a new song Aaye Re Baba. During the event, Sanjay made a big statement about Bollywood and the unity in the film industry. He revealed how his movie has been ignored by the distributors and other stakeholders.
Sanjay Dutt during the song launch from his movie The Bhootni addressed the issues he has been noticing in the industry lately. He was heard saying in Hindi, “Dukh hota hai ki Industry aise bat chuki hai jo maine kabhi dekha nahi tha. Humlog ek family the, aur hamesha rahenge, thoda bhatak gaye hai. Main yahi kehna chahta hoon ki har picture important hoti hai ye industry ke liye and har picture ko woh mauka dena chahiye."
Pointing out his film has not been given due attention, he added, "The distributors and cinema owners, everybody should be equal with films. Chalo Bhootnii ko itna zor nahi diya ja raha hai lekin mujhe pata hai ye picture bahut aage niklegi. I request the film industry to be together as a family again and let’s help each other so that the film industry grows."
About The Bhootnii
The film is directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, The Bhootnii is co-produced by Sanjay Dutt and Deepak Mukut. Besides Sanjay Dutt, the movie stars Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh and Aasif Khan in key roles. The movie will explore paranormal activities with blend of suspense, danger and comedic chaos. The movie will face a box office clash with Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, Nani's Hit 3, and Suriya's Retro as they are releasing on the same date May 1.
