Raid 2 First Day Advance Booking Report: Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor starrer crime thriller movie is set to release on May 1, 2025 in theatres. Raid 2 is one of the most anticipated films since its announcement in April 2020. The film is based on income tax raid conducted by the Income Tax Department, just like the prequel. The first part, starring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz, released in theatres in March 2018. Raid not only gained huge recognition but was one of the blockbusters of the year, earning Rs 103.07 crore in India. The sequel is expected to follow the same path and do wonders just like the previous one. However, it seems the movie might fail to beat the first-day collection of Raid (2018), which earned Rs 10.04 crore. Whereas, Raid 2 has sold tickets over Rs 1.9 lakhs all over India and is expected to open at the box office, collecting over Rs 4.9 crore.

As per Sacnilk, the movie has already sold 109576 tickets across the country. The gross collection of Raid 2 now stands at Rs 2.91 crore without the block seat. Ajay Devgn’s movie Raid 2 is expected to earn Rs 4.98 crore with block seats on its first day. Maharashtra is leading with the highest ticket sales of 88.31 lakhs (with block seats) and is contributing Rs 1.24 crore to the overall collection of the movie. Delhi also had the highest ticket sales of 49.13 lakhs (with block seats) and contributed Rs 83.76 lakh to the overall collection.
About Raid 2
The plot focuses on an Indian Revenue Service Officer named Amay Patnaik, who seized over 4200 crores in his career. Now, he has to conduct his 75th raid on the premises of Dada Manohar Bhai (Riteish Deshmukh), a politician. But it turns out to be one of the most challenging cases of his career. Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor and Amit Sial in key roles. The film has been directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar.
