Rashmika Mandanna-Vijay Deverakonda Wedding: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, known to their millions of fans as 'Virosh,' are set to marry on February 26, 2026. While the couple has kept the event intimate, details from their grand Sangeet ceremony have started to emerge.
Latest reports suggest that the pre-wedding festivities at the luxury ITC Mementos estate have been a mix of modern fun and deep-rooted tradition. After kicking things off with a lavish Japanese dinner and competitive rounds of pool volleyball and cricket, the families gathered for the Sangeet on Tuesday night. The highlight of the evening was a significant ritual involving Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda.
According to reports, Madhavi Deverakonda presented Rashmika Mandanna with a set of traditional heirloom gold bangles. This gesture is deeply symbolic in Indian culture, representing the official welcoming of a daughter-in-law into the family fold. According to reports in India Today, “In a heartfelt gesture, Vijay’s mother will present Rashmika with traditional heirloom bangles during the sangeet ceremony, symbolising acceptance, love and family legacy."
Meanwhile, in a joint statement shared on February 22, the couple officially announced their union, "Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves — you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today — with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it — ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us — always. Biggest hugs and full love!"
While the Udaipur ceremony is strictly for family and very close friends, a star-studded reception is planned for March 4, 2026, in Hyderabad. The reception is expected to take place at the prestigious Taj Krishna and will feature both the South Indian and Bollywood film industries.
