Interstellar Re-Release: Christopher Nolan's highly praised film Interstellar is making its way back to theaters. This follows its re-release in India last month to mark the film's 10th anniversary, which received an enthusiastic response. Now, the iconic science fiction movie, starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, will return for a limited theatrical run in India. Originally released in 2014, the film continues to captivate audiences.

Interstellar Re-Release in India Again:

Interstellar will hit theatres again in India on March 14. Warner Bros India took to their X handle and shared the exciting announcement of the film's re-release. Along with the poster, they wrote, "Back on public demand! Rediscover the masterpiece that captivated millions! Christopher Nolan's Interstellar returns to cinemas in India on March 14. Also in IMAX. Limited run - 7 days only."

As soon as the announcement was made, netizens shared their excitement in the comments section. One user wrote, "They didn't bring us here, we bought ourselves." Another user commented, "God's sign - Don't die before experiencing it in IMAX." Another comment read, "I am not crying. I wasn't grown enough to understand this movie when it released. But when I finally saw it for the first time, I realized what I missed. Hearing the news of its re-release gave me hope. But I missed it again, and it became one of my life's biggest regrets. Now, I've got another chance. I'm not crying."

The film premiered on November 5, 2014, and grossed USD 759.4 million, including USD 681 million in its original run. It also became the biggest Hollywood re-release grosser in India at that time. It earned five Academy Award nominations, winning Best Visual Effects. The film's plot delves into the question of whether mankind has a future among the stars. Matthew McConaughey, as an ex-pilot and farmer, is forced to leave his family and pilot a spaceship with other researchers to find a new planet for humans. The film also stars Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, Timothée Chalamet, Ellen Burstyn, Bill Irwin, Wes Bentley, David Oyelowo and Casey Affleck in pivotal roles.
