Ira Khan, Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta’s daughter is all set to marry fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare on January 3. The duo will have a traditional Maharashtrian wedding and the pre-wedding festivity photos and videos are already circulating widely on social media. Now, Aamir Khan’s second wife Kiran Rao was seen in a Marathi-style saree at Nupur Shikhare’s home for the haldi ceremony on January 2. Ahead of the wedding, Aamir's residence was also adorned with beautiful lighting. It's an exciting time for the family as they prepare to celebrate Ira's upcoming nuptials.

Meanwhile, Ira Khan and Aamir Khan were spotted by paps a day before the former's wedding. Aamir Khan was seen greeting the paparazzi as he smiled as the proud dad whose daughter's big day is on January 3. Ira, on the other hand, looked good in a casual look.

In an interview with News18, Aamir revealed that the boy Ira had chosen was Nupur, who was also his fitness coach and had arms like Popeye. Aamir praised Nupur and said that he stood by Ira and emotionally supported her during her battle with depression. Aamir mentioned that he is happy that they are together and care for each other.

Ira and Nupur met in 2020 and immediately bonded with each other. After spending quality time with each other for the last three years, they decided to formalize their union and make it official. According to reports in IndiaToday, the couple will also have a grand reception in Mumbai after January 10 that will be attended by Bollywood A-listers.
