As the celebrations for his daughter Ira Khan's wedding commenced at Udaipur's Taj Lake Palace, actor Aamir Khan was spotted dancing to a song from his film PK. He was joined by his ex-wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao as they swayed to the beats. The actor was spotted dancing with Rajasthani folk artists in the city. Adding to the celebratory mood, he even performed the signature step from his popular song 'Tharki Chokro'. For the unversed, Ira is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta.
The Khan family gathered in Udaipur for a four-day extravagant affair to witness Ira's marriage to fitness expert Nupur Shikhare in a traditional ceremony. The couple had their official registered marriage in Mumbai on January 3. Now, in a video going viral, Rajasthani folk artists play the song 'Tharki Chokro' from the 2014 blockbuster satirical comedy PK. Encouraged by the performers, Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao, are pulled onto the dance floor. While Kiran joins briefly and then steps away, applauding, Aamir enthusiastically embraces the moment. The actor even goes on to perform the signature dance step of the song, showcasing his lively spirit at the event.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare officially registered their marriage on January 3 in Mumbai, marking the beginning of their celebrations. The couple, along with their families, subsequently traveled to Udaipur for their ceremonial wedding. Recently, Ira shared a glimpse of their wedding invitation. The celebrations are slated to begin on January 8 with a Mehendi brunch at 11:30 am, followed by hi-tea and dinner. Additionally, a pajama party is arranged for friends and relatives at 10 pm on the same day. Moving forward, the festivities continue on January 9 with the sangeet planned for 7 pm. Finally, the wedding ceremony is scheduled for January 10 at 4 pm.

Ira Khan's Reception
After the wedding festivities, a lavish reception is scheduled for January 13 at BKC Jio Centre. The guest list for this grand affair includes Aamir Khan's close circle of friends and esteemed figures from the film industry. Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Akshay Kumar, Juhi Chawla, and several other luminaries are expected to attend the event. Additionally, reports indicate that the Ambani family has also received an invitation to grace this star-studded event.
