Kpop sensation BTS has recently stirred up excitement among fans with speculations of their involvement in the soundtrack for the upcoming movie, Despicable Me 4. With their 11th anniversary approaching and the recent discharge of member Jin from the military, the group is already the talk of the town. Now, the possibility of a collaboration with Pharrell Williams for the movie soundtrack has fans buzzing even more.

On June 13, 2024, fans in Los Angeles spotted intriguing posters featuring the Kpop group BTS. These posters, displayed around the city, prominently featured the text 'BTS DM4' inside a heart. The use of purple, a colour closely associated with BTS and the term 'Borahe', coined by member V to mean 'I purple you', further fueled the speculation.

The posters included a significant detail at the bottom, reading, 'Despicable Me 4 ⓒ 2024 Universal City Studios LLC. BTS ⓒ BIGHIT MUSIC & HYBE. All Rights Reserved'. And now the X account of Despicable Me 4 has dropped an official teaser of an upcoming collab.

Adding to the excitement, there are also rumours of a potential collaboration between BTS and Pharrell Williams. Pharrell, who produced and performed the hit song 'Happy' for Despicable Me 2, is listed as one of the producers for Despicable Me 4. His previous interaction with BTS leader RM, during a magazine interview, has fans hoping for a creative partnership on this project.

Pharrell Williams' involvement in the movie's soundtrack raises the possibility that he could team up with BTS, blending their unique styles for a memorable musical contribution to the film.
