Mahesh Babu is all set to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas after 12 years for his upcoming film tentatively titled 'SSM28'. Fans are excited to see this dream team after 12 years and have a lot of expectations from the film. It was recently reported that the movie got shelved due to some issues, but producer Naga Vamsi has cleared the air regarding these rumours.

Addressing the rumours, Naga Vamsi tweeted, "If these gossip mongers can take a hike or make movies like they spread rumours, Industry can benefit. We want #SSMB28 to be a sure-shot Blockbuster and YOU TAKE OUR WORD ON IT." 

He added, "It would be better to let us work at our pace in peace. Remember it is Jan 2024 release film! Fans, you loved FL, Just wait and watch on May 31st, what we are up to. THERE IS NO POETRY IN THIS STATEMENT."

Mahesh Babu has previously worked with director Trivikram Srinivas in hit films like ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’.

Talking about 'SSMB28', the movie also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. Meanwhile, S Thaman is the music composer of the film. The first look of 'SSMB28' was unveiled a month ago and the release date of the film was announced as well.

Sharing the first look, Mahesh Babu wrote, "13.01.2024!! #SaveTheDate".

'SSMB28' will hit the theatres on January 13, 2024.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu will collaborate with SS Rajamouli as well for 'SSMB29'. It has been reported that SSMB29 will be a jungle-based adventure drama and it is expected to go on floors next year. Recently, the writer KV Vijayendra Prasad revealed some details about the film and confirmed that the film is based on a real-life incident and is an adventure film.

"Yes, you can write it. It’s an adventure story, which will roll next year," he told Pinkvilla.

Meanwhile, talking about working with SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu said that it is a dream come true. "It’s too early to speak about the film, but it’s a dream come true for me. SS Rajamouli and I have been trying to work together for a long time and it’s finally happening. I am really excited about the film," he told Pinkvilla.

Further details about Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli's project are not disclosed yet.
