Prabhas led ‘Salaar’ is gearing up for a release on December 22 in multiple languages after severe delay. The film will now face a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki.’ As the release date of the film is coming near, rumour has it that the film is a remake of a Kannada film titled, ‘Ugramm.’ The film was helmed by Prashant Neel and was then made in Odia and Marathi language. ‘Salaar’ was initially slated for a release on September 28, but due to pending post-production work, the film is now postponed.

The Kannada film is an action thriller starring Sriimurali, Hariprriya, and Thilak Shekar in lead roles.
