Rohit Saraf, best celebrated for his work in Netflix’s much loved web series Mismatched, is reportedly gearing up for a new romantic drama. According to reports, the Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari actor is roped in to headline a new movie alongside Rasha Thadani and Nitanshi Goel. The movie is reportedly being considered for an intense romantic drama that will have passion, conflict, and emotions.
According to a report in Mid-day, Producers Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg of Neerja (2016) fame are reportedly in talks with actors Rohit Saraf, Nitanshi Goel, and Rasha Thadani for an intense love story. The report stated, “Rohit has a soft, romantic charm, far from the alpha heroes we see on screen today. His popularity has only increased with Mismatched. Nitanshi and Rasha caught the audience’s attention with their respective maiden Bollywood ventures, Laapataa Ladies [2024] and Azaad [2025]. The makers felt it would be interesting to bring the trio together in a space that they haven’t explored before.”

Rohit Saraf Work Front
On the professional front, Rohit Saraf was last seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari which also starred Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. Currently, reports suggest he is shooting for next season of his beloved web series Mismatched. Rohit Saraf also has a thriller web series, The Revolutionaries, in his kitty which is set to make its OTT debut. The first look of the web series was unveiled earlier last year and it also stars Bhuvan Bam, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Jason Shah in pivotal roles.
Rasha Thadani And Nitanshi Goel’s Upcoming Projects
Rasha Thadani made her Bollywood debut in 2025 with Abhishek Kapoor’s Azaad, opposite debutant Aaman Devgan. Currently she is gearing up for the release of her another theatrical movie Laikey Laikaa featuring Abhay Verma opposite her. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres in summer 2026. On the other hand, Nitanshi Goel rose to fame with Kiran Rao’s directorial Laapataa Ladies. Her performance in the movie helped her bag the Best Actress trophy at IIFA 2025.
